Director of CX Lissa Richards Receives CPBJ 2017 ‘Forty Under 40’ Award

Red Privet’s Director of Customer Experience Lissa Richards has been recognized by the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal (CPBJ) as a member of the Class of 2017 ‘Forty Under 40’.  The Forty Under 40 award program celebrates the region’s most accomplished young business leaders who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service.

Lissa has been integral to the growth of Red Privet – a research-driven customer experience agency that designs and develops effective experiences through websites, secure web portals, mobile applications, and other digital products.  She pioneered the agency’s journey mapping and digital strategy services – disciplines that led to numerous accolades for the organization and clients such as Duke Health, Highmark Insurance, Penn State Health and Geisinger Health System.  In the past year, her work helped Red Privet receive two 2016 Web Marketing Association’s Web Awards and six Horizon Interactive Awards.

“Lissa is an enthusiastic and focused leader internally, and a trusted strategic partner to our clients – always willing to ask the tough questions needed to solve their customer experience problems,” said Matt Hummel, President of Red Privet.  He added, “Her belief that customer experience starts by truly understanding the customer gives her a deep appreciation for their experience as healthcare consumers, and drives her creative approach to building solutions that ultimately make people’s lives easier.”

The Forty Under 40 program also values community service – an area of passion for Lissa.  She is a 10-year volunteer and active board member with the YWCA Greater Harrisburg and most recently became involved with helping Sprocket Mural Works, a mural project bringing public art to Harrisburg.

“This is a tremendous and well-deserved honor.  The entire Red Privet team is thrilled for Lissa,” said Hummel.

The 2017 awards event will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Hilton Harrisburg.
