Red Privet’s Design Director, Mayr Budny, will serve as a design mentor for Johns Hopkins’ MedHacks 1.0, a premier biotech and healthcare “hackathon” where students work with industry experts to develop innovative healthcare solutions. The event will be held from October 2-4 at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
MedHacks is a three-day, student-run event that focuses on “innovating at the crossroads of medical entrepreneurship and technological development.” Top technologists, scientists, healthcare professionals and engineers will team up to develop real solutions to today’s medical challenges. Following 36 hours of collaboration, each interdisciplinary team of “hackers” will present their projects to a board of judges and winners will be selected.
“Mayr’s invitation by Johns Hopkins to participate as design mentor demonstrates our continued thought leadership in healthcare design,” said Matt Hummel, President and founder of Red Privet. “We are thrilled to have Mayr represent Red Privet and honored to participate in this year’s Hackathon.”
Red Privet is a proud sponsor of MedHacks.
